Study UK University Scholarships (No.101-No.110)

– You must be a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand or  Vietnam
– You must hold a Conditional or unconditional offer of a place on a postgraduate Master’s degree programme at New Castle University, New Castle city campus at the time of applying for this scholarship
– You must have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes
– You must intend to register to start your studies during the 2016/17 academic year
– You must be a self-funded student and not a receipt of any other certrally awarded Newcastle University scholarship.
– Application closing date – 30 June 2016

– Applied through UCAS by 30 April and been offered a place to study on one of our degree programs for 2016//17 entry.
– Been assessed as overseas for fees purposes,
– Already achieved or will achieve an agreed level of academic performance in their pre-university qualifications,
– Already accepted or will accept Newcastle University as their first choice university.

Category 2-International Scholarships of £5,000 towards the cost of tuition fees will be awarded to high achieving international students commencing one of the specified Masters degree programmes for 2016 entry.

Hold a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to the MBA

– Ideally hold the equivalent of a UK 1st class or 2:1 Honours Degree. Applicants with 2:2 will be eligible for consideration if they have outstanding work experience. For outstanding work experience the applicant should hold a senior position at a highly reputable company and will be able demonstrate outstanding achievements during their work experience.
– Have previously studied at University with a strong academic reputation and ranking.
– Hold an English language qualification of IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent with no sub skill below 6.0, if your first language is not English. Only candidates who meet the criteria for direct entry onto the MBA programme will be considered.
